The events, presented in collaboration with the Italian Federation of Cooks USA – New York District, will be featuring the products of the exhibitors at Be Italian in tasty traditional dishes.
What better way to expand one’s knowledge of the great products presented by the exhibitors at Be Italian 2019 than actually tasting them? And to make sure these products are fully appreciated by the people attending the fair, they will be left to the skilled hands of the chefs belonging to the Federazione Italiana Cuochi USA – New York District, the Big Apple stronghold of the association representing Italian chefs living and working throughout the entire world.
The New York chapter was founded in 2017 with the goal of spreading the culture and enogastronomic heritage of Italy by means of seminars, workshops and events involving the participation of the Italian chefs living and working in New York.
“Our association is striving to set up a network in which the Italian cooks, restaurant industry members and wholesale food dealers can discuss industry issues, exchange experiences and grow together,” explained Alessandro Pendinelli, president of the association. “We Italians boast a great cultural heritage which we intend to promote here in the most important market in the world. And Be Italian is clearly the right means for achieving this end.”
The collaboration between Be Italian and the Federation started in our second year and the results obtained during the first edition of the fair were very encouraging. The cooking shows scheduled last year were participated in by hundreds of restaurant industry professionals and, once again this year, the calendar of events is very enticing. “We have the good fortune of being able to count on absolutely top-quality equipment and excellent products, all provided by the exhibitors,” Pendinelli was eager to point out, “so, we will have no trouble tickling the palates of all the enthusiastic fairgoers attending Be Italian 2019!”
